YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngstown State University has announced a new partnership with Motion, a growing provider of modern software for college athletic departments. The agreement will bring three of Motion’s flagship products — Motion Team, Motion Compliance, and Motion Academics — to the Penguins’ athletic programs, empowering coaches, administrators, and student-athletes with a unified digital platform built for today’s needs.
Motion Team will streamline day-to-day operations across YSU athletics, consolidating team scheduling, messaging, and film sharing into one mobile-first app. Simultaneously, Motion Compliance will give YSU administrators the tools to manage roster changes, workflows, CARA, and eligibility documentation with speed and confidence — reducing manual work and ensuring alignment with NCAA and conference standards. Motion Academics frees up time for academic advisors by automating travel letters, grade checks, and study hall tracking and reporting.
